Michael Goldenberg to pen Green Lantern sequel
Michael Goldenberg has been hired to pen the sequel to Green Lantern.
Goldenberg, whose credits also include Where The Wild Things Are and Peter Pan, will work on a screenplay for the superhero picture based on Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim’s treatment.
Goldenberg reportedly did a rewrite on the first movie, which just completed production in New Orleans under Martin Campbell’s direction.
The Green Lantern hits cinemas on June 17, 2011 with Ryan Reynolds leading the cast.
