Butler headlining sci-fi actioner…
Gerard Butler (‘Point Break,’ ‘Olympus Has Fallen’) has signed on to take the lead in writer-director Dean Devlin’s sci-fi adventure thriller ‘Geostorm,’ according to the folks over at TheWrap.
Butler will play a “satellite designer who, when the world’s climate-controlling satellites malfunction, has to work together with his estranged brother to save the world from a man-made storm of epic proportions.”
The film is set up over at Warner Bros. with Devlin’s Electric Entertainment producing alongside David Ellison’s Skydance Productions.
