Gary Shore Gears Up For THE GREAT GAME

Irish filmmaker Gary Shore (‘Dracula Untold,’ ‘Holidays’) has been tapped to take the helm of the historical epic ‘The Great Game,’ according to Deadline.

Featuring an original screenplay by Bryan McMullin, the story is set during the Baku oil rush at the turn of the century where oil barons lawlessly engage in games of deceit, espionage, and murder to build oil empires.

The story follows Emanuel Nobel, nephew of Nobel Prize founder Alfred Nobel, as he tries to navigate his place amongst his family of genius inventors. McMullin’s scripts also delves into his heated romance with a mysterious ballerina.

Producers on the drama include Brian Oliver and Jason Seagraves of Cross Creek Pictures and Maurice Fadida. The team will work closely with the Nobel family in developing the project.
