Oscar nominated actor in talks for thriller.
‘Tinker Tailor Solider Spy’ star Gary Oldman is in final negotiations to reunite with ‘Book of Eli’ director Albert Hughes for the revenge thriller ‘Motor City,’ reports Heat Vision.
Starring Dominic Cooper (‘The Devil’s Double’) and Amber Heard (‘The Rum Diary’), the films centers on a small time hood who is “framed and sent to prison, only to exact revenge years later to get back the woman he loves.”
Oldman would be taking the role of the villain, “a kingpin-type pulling the strings” and who has his hooks in Heard’s character.
Production is slated to kick off in Berlin in April, with Huges directing from a screenplay by Chad St. John.
