Mean Girls helmer to produce Freaky Monday
A sequel to Freaky Friday is in the works, reports Variety.
CBS Films is developing the teen comedy Freaky Monday with producers Andrew Gunn and Mean Girls helmer Mark Waters.
The studio has optioned the body-swapping novel from “Freaky Friday” writer Heather Hach.
Freaky Monday centres on a smart but insecure girl who magically switches bodies with her sympathetic junior high English teacher for a day.
