Foyle Film Festival kick off!
The 21st Foyle Film Festival kicks off today with the Northern Ireland Premiere of ‘Brideshead Revisited’ starring Emma Thompson and Michael Gambon.
Running until the 29th of November, the festival features such Irish film as ‘Anton’, ‘Eden’ and ‘Kisses’. IFTA winning documentary ‘At Home with the Clearys’ will also be shown with director Alison Millar providing an introduction and Q&A after the screening.
The closing night film of the festival is the Irish Premiere of Michael Winterbottom’s latest movie ‘Genova’, which is a contemporary family ghost story and stars Colin Firth.
The main venues for the festival are the Omniplex, the Orchard Cinema at the Playhouse, and the Nerve Centre in Derry/Londonderry.
