Four More Enter THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN

Meta redux fills outs four supporting roles.

Gary Cole (‘Talladega Nights,’ ‘Office Space’), Veronica Cartwright (‘Alien,’ ‘The Witches of Eastwick’), Joshua Leonard (‘The Lie,’ ‘Humpday’) and newcomer Travis Tope have become the latest additions to the cast of the horror thriller ‘The Town That Dreaded Sundown.’

‘The Town That Dreaded Sundown’ takes place in Texarkana, site of the 1946 “Moonlight Murders” that inspired the 1976 cult horror ‘The Town That Dreaded Sundown.’ Addison Timlin heads up the cast playing Jami, a girl who survives a copycat massacre at the film’s annual tribute screening and sets out to solve the mystery of who’s recreating the unsolved Sackhead murders, using clues from her own past.

Cole will play a deputy who is doggedly pursuing the killer. THR reports that Leonard will play the deputy assigned to protect Jami and her grandmother, played by Cartwright. Tope is playing one of Jami’s friends from school.

Principal photography is scheduled to being this month in Louisiana with Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (‘American Horror Story’) behind the camera.
