What needs to be said about The Avengers, almost everyone is going to see it for themselves, there's no need to hype it any further. I would say though to save yourself a few quid and see it in 2D.
Albert Nobbs is fairly dry and serious, melancholic is the right word as mentioned, but going in with very low expectations I was surprised how much I actually enjoyed it. I suppose I have a soft spot for films made in Dublin.
I've a very soft fuzzy spot for Being Elmo, loved it. Big tentpole films like the Avengers are best on the big screen but documentaries like Being Elmo do not lose much, so if you do not see it now I'd definitely encourage you to give it a go when it comes out on DVD.
I had been tempted to give Damsels in Distress a look but this review has put me off the idea.
