Five More Join WRITERS

Dramedy continues to fill out its cast.

Deadline has word of five new additions to the cast of writer-director Josh Boone’s ‘Writers.’ Joining Greg Kinnear (‘Little Miss Sunshine’) and Jennifer Connelly (‘He’s Just Not That Into You’) on the comedy drama will be Lily Collins (‘Mirror Mirror’), Logan Lerman (‘The Three Muskateers’), Nat Wolff (‘New Year’s Eve’), Liana Liberato (‘Trespass’), and Kristen Bell (‘House of Lies’).

The film follows the members of the Borgens family and their love interests over the course of one tumultuous year. Kinnear plays Bill Borgens, a famous novelist obsessed with his ex-wife, played by Connelly.

Collins will play their daughter Samantha, who is pursued by a fellow writing student (Lerman). Wolff will take the role of their teenage son, who is experiencing first love with Kate (Liberato). Bell plays Tricia, Bill’s “friend with benefits” who tries to help him get over his ex-wife.

Production kicks off next week in North Carolina.
