The Cougar Classic: The famous flick starring a very innocent Dustin Hoffman who succumbs to the world-weary Mrs. Robinson’s seductive spell in Kennedy-era America . Ironically there was little age difference between the pair with Hoffman being 30 at the time of filming and Anne Bancroft being a mere 6 years older!



Harold and Maude





“Young, rich, and obsessed with death, Harold finds himself changed forever when he meets lively septuagenarian Maude at a funeral.” (Now there’s a movie synopsis!). While the pair do eventually  do the deed, we’re not sure the 79 years old Maude (Ruth Gordon) can really be called a Cougar. She might be too old to pounce without breaking a hip…

In this French-language film set in Vienna, Erika (played by the magnificent Isabelle Huppert) is seduced by her piano student Walter (Benoit Magimel). Little does he know Erika has got some crazy mommy issues;  she’s a masochist; and that he’s in for more than he bargained for…
