The first image of Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne revealed
A first photo has emerged from the set of the big-screen video game movie ‘Max Payne’. The photo of actor Mark Wahlberg as Payne can be viewed here.
Max Payne centres on a NYPD detective in Hell’s Kitchen. When his family is brutally murdered, Payne is left to uncover the reasons why, all the while being accused of the crime himself.
The film is based on the third-person shooter video game developed by the Finnish company Remedy Entertainment back in 2001 and will be helmed by ‘Behind Enemy Lines’ director John Moore.
In other ‘Payne’ news Mila Kunis (Family Guy) has signed on to star as Sax – a young woman who joins up with Payne to get revenge for the murder of her sister.
Shooting on the film began in Toronto last week.
