Animated sequel reunites voice cast.
Last year it was revealed that Andrew Stanton was set to take the director’s chair on Pixar’s ‘Finding Nemo’ sequel, now it has been confirmed that both Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres are also set to return for the animated adventure.
According to Deadline, the deal to bring Brooks back into the fold took longer than expected due to his recent career resurgence with roles in the Judd Apatow-directed ‘This Is 40,’ and his turn as bad-ass Bernie Rose in ‘Drive.’
Set for release in 2016, ‘Finding Nemo 2’ will feature a screenplay by Stanton and Victoria Strouse. Plot details continue to remain under wraps.
