ATTACK THE BLOCK Director to Helm THE KID WHO WOULD BE KING

Joe Cornish has finally settled on a follow-up to his 2011 directorial debut ‘Attack The Block,’ signing on to write and direct ‘The Kid Who Would Be King.’

Described as a family fantasy action-adventure, the movie is about a band of young kids embarking on an epic quest to thwart a Medieval menace.

Cornish will once again team with Working Title (‘Les Miserables,’ ‘The Danish Girl,’ ‘Everest’) and Big Talk (‘Hot Fuzz,’ ‘’Baby Driver’) for the project.
