‘Anchorman’ star Will Ferrell and Jason Momoa (‘Justice League,’ ‘Game of Thrones’) are attached to star in an untitled comedy that will see them playing father and son, according to Deadline.
The official logline is under wraps, but according to site’s insiders the film is described it as ‘Galaxy Quest’ meets ‘Ocean’s Eleven,’ with Ferrell playing a washed up TV star reuniting with his now grown TV show son (played by Momoa) who has become a huge star.
Andy Mogel & Jarrad Paul, the duo behind the Jack Black and James Marsden comedy ’The D Train,’ are on board to script. Ferrell and Gary Sanchez partner Adam McKay will produce the project alongside Nicholas Stoller (‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall,’ ‘Bad Neighbours’).
