‘The Theory Of Everything’ actress eyes female lead…

Deadline is reporting that English actress Felicity Jones (‘The Invisible Woman,’ ‘Breathe In,’ ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’) has entered into early talks to star opposite Tom Hanks in Ron Howard’s ‘Inferno.’

The third installment based on the Dan Brown series of novels, the film finds Harvard symbologist Henry Langdon (Hanks) awakening in an Italian hospital with amnesia. He teams up with Sienna Brooks, a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories and prevent a madman from releasing a global plague connected to one of history’s most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces . . . Dante’s Inferno.

David Koepp is providing the script, with Brian Grazer producing alongside Howard.

Jones will next be seen starring alongside Eddie Redmayne in the Stephen Hawking biopic ‘The Theory Of Everything,’ hitting cinemas January 2015.
