Feig and Firth Are UNTOUCHABLE

Feig may Firth circle remake of French dramedy.

‘Bridesmaids’ director Paul Feig has reportedly begun negotiations to take the director’s chair for ‘Untouchable,’ an English-language remake of the award-winning French hit ‘The Intouchables.’

The original, directed by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache and based on a true story, follows a wealthy aristocrat who suffers a tragic paragliding accident that leaves him a quadriplegic. He goes through several caretakers before bonding with a young, troubled caregiver, and the seemingly mismatched duo end up learning a lot from each other.

According to Variety, ‘The King’s Speech’ star Colin Firth has emerged as the frontrunner for the coveted lead role.
