The 60th US TV Emmy Awards took place last night with '30 Rock', ‘Mad Men' and ‘John Adams' the big winners on the night.

Tina Fey's TV satire ‘30 Rock' dominated the comedy side of this year's Awards, winning four honours including best series.

I was late to the whole 30 Rock experience, but enjoyed it on first viewing. I don't think its up there with Arrested Development, but its generally enjoyable.

Suprised The Wire didnt get a mention, love that show.

Didnt even know Bertie's gurl had her own show - good to see Christina up and about again.

I thought Samantha Who had been cancelled, though I saw an ad for it on E4 the other day, so it's coming to these shores soon.
Mad Men won a lot, I've not seen that show either.

I'm looking forward to seeing that John Adams thing with Paul Giamatti - think it's on this week sometime.

Watched the first epsiode f Mad Man... and it was good but for some reason I never had the urge to follow it.

House only got 1 award. Surely it should have got more than that.

I see that Battlestar Galactica got a perfunctory nom and no actual award. Genre snobbishness at its worst.
