Los Angeles police today confirmed that actor Corey Haim has died due to a suspected drug overdose. No more details have been released as yet, the actor had been struggling with drug addiction.
We look back at some of the more notable moments in the actors career, both the highs and the lows.

Silver Bullet - 1985
Before Haim faced Vampires in The Lost Boys, he tackled Warewolfs in Silver Bullet, a low budget horror based on the Stephen King story 'Cycle Of The Werewolf'.
Lucas - 1986
Corey Haim's major breakthrough was the 1986 movie Lucas, which co-starred Charlie Sheen and Winona Ryder.
He was nominated for an Exceptional Performance By A Young Actor at the Young Artist Awards and the exposure was enough to bag him the role in Joel Schumacher's new vampire movie...

The Lost Boys - 1987
Grossing $32 million at the box office, The Lost Boys was one of the highest earning R-Rated movies of its time. It catapulted Haim to teenage super-star over night. Despite its success, Haim refused to take part in any sequel for over 20 years.

License To Drive - 1988
The second film to star the Two Coreys, it was a huge box office success, earning over $20 million worldwide. The plot that see's Corey damage his grandfathers Cadillac, after borrowing it without permission was eerily similar to that of 1986's Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Watchers - 1988
Corey's 1988 Canadian Horror film didn't exactly set the box office on fire, making less than $1million in America. It did spawn three sequels, all of which were released in the 90s.
Dream A Little Dream - 1989
The third movie to star The Two Coreys. It was the last box office success that Corey would have as an A-List star. Earning $5.5 million at the box office, it spawned a direct to video sequel in 1995 which also saw the Two Corey's return.
Corey Haim - Me, Myself, and I - 1989
1989 was the year that Corey's career began to implode, he released a self-promotional video documentary entitled 'Corey Haim: Me, Myself, and I' that put a full stop on his acting career. His next four movies 'The Dream Machine', 'Blown Away', The Double 0 Kid' and 'Oh What A Night' went straight to video. In 1993 he starred in 'Double Switch' a Sega full motion video game.

The Two Corey's - 2006
The Two Corey's was a poorly received reality TV show starring supposed rivals Corey Haim and Corey Feldman.
The two actors played characters which represented their real personas. Haim was an unemployed, single and lazy, and moved in with his childhood co-star Corey Feldman who is a clean living, responsible adult. The show was cancelled half way through it's second season.

The Thrills - Whatever Happened To Corey Haim - Music Video
In 2004 Irish band The Thrills imortalised Corey in song with their rather catchy tune about the former child star titled 'Whatever Happened To Corey Haim'. Sadly, they don't want their music to go viral, so we can't embed the song, but you can check it out on Youtube here.
They've since vanished into obscurity, so the question now is 'Whatever Happened To The Thrills?'
The Lost Boys: The Tribe - 2008
For a long time, Corey refused to appear in Lost Boys sequel 'The Tribe', and who could blame him, the script wasn't a patch on 1987's original. He reversed his decision in 2008 and made a small appearance at the end of the films credits. He had been signed to appear in a third Lost Boys movie 'The Thirst'.
