It has been announced that Michael Fassbender (‘Prometheus,’ ‘Shame’) and Colin Firth (‘The King’s Speech’) are set to star in the John Logan-penned real life drama ‘Genius.’
Based on A. Scott Berg’s biography ‘Max Perkins: Editor of Genius’ the film centres on the relationship between literary giant Thomas Wolfe (Fassbender) and his long-time editor Max Perkins (Firth).
One of the most respected and well-known literary editors of all time, Perkins discovered such iconic novelists as F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway.
Filming is scheduled to begin 2014 with Michael Grandage attached to direct.
