Out this week is the family adventure film ‘Nim’s Island’.

Anything can happen on Nim’s Island, a magical place ruled by a young girl’s imagination. It is an existence that mirrors that of her favorite literary character, Alex Rover–the world’s greatest adventurer. (1)He was born in Glasgow but raised primarily in Paisley, Scotland.

(2)He is Scottish, but is of partial Irish ancestry. He has also mentioned that, because of this, his family does not have a tartan.

(4)While filming ‘Mrs. Brown’ Butler saved a young boy from drowning in the river Tay and recieved a “Certificate Of Bravery” from The Royal Humane Society.

(7) He has a law degree from Glasgow University, but gave up on this career choice after being fired from a law firm just one week before he was qualified to practice law.
