Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have signed on to pen the film adaptation of Existence 2.0.

Based on the sci fi series, the movie will be released by Paramount Pictures and produced by Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes.

The original series followed “an amoral, self-absorbed physicist who finds his consciousness transferred into the body of the hitman who just killed him”. The character begins to develop a taste for killing, until his daughter is kidnapped by the same people who ordered his assassination.

An official release date for Existence 2.0 is yet to be announced.
