The feature directorial debut of Ewan McGregor, AMERICAN PASTORAL is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel Philip Roth novel and sees McGregor playing Seymour “Swede” Levov,” a blonde Jewish businessman living in Newark, New Jersey, whose seemingly idyllic existence is shattered by the social and political turmoil of the 1960s.
AMERICAN PASTORAL is released in Irish cinemas November 2016.
