Emily Browning joins Sucker Punch

The Uninvited actress gets an invite to Zack Synder’s Sucker Punch

Emily Browning (The Uninvited) will reportedly replace Amanda Seyfried in director Zack Snyder’s next movie “Sucker Punch”.

Seyfried was set to play the lead role of Babydoll, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with the fourth season of HBO’s “Big Love.”

The flick folllows Babydoll when she is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather. He intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.

Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Evan Rachel Wood and Emma Stone have all been confirmed for the film, which is scheduled for an October 2010 release.
