Emily Browning (‘Sucker Punch,’ ‘Magic Magic,’ ‘Sleeping Beauty’) has reportedly entered into talks to star alongside Tom Hardy (‘Lock,’ ‘The Dark Knight Rises’) in the upcoming crime thriller ‘Legends.’
In the film Hardy plays both Ronald and Reginald Kray, the identical twins who became infamous for their criminal exploits in London during the 1950s and 1960s.
THR has Browning being lined up for the role of “a young woman who tragically falls for Reggie and marries him, hoping he will change his gangster ways.”
Filming begins in London later this spring with Brian Helgeland writing and directing.
Browning will next be seen starring opposite Kit Harington and Kiefer Sutherland in Paul W. S. Anderson’s historical action drama ‘Pompeii’ when it hits Irish cinemas May 2nd.
