Eisner for Blood of the Innocent

Crazies helmer to develop adaptation of comic book Blood of the Innocent

Director Breck Eisner is developing a movie adaptation of comic book Blood of the Innocent.

Speaking to Shock Till You Drop, comic book author Mark Wheatley revealed that The Crazies helmer working on the project:

Blood of the Innocent, originally published in 1958, pitted Dracula against Jack the Ripper.

Wheatley said that Eisner will most likely film Blood after he wraps production on the Escape from New York remake.

“He’s trying to make Blood of the Innocent the picture he does after Escape. He and the writer have been working on the pitch,” Wheatley explained.
