No Pirates for the High School Musical Star…
Zac Efron has insisted he has not put pen to paper on a deal to star in the new Pirates Of The Caribbean movie.
The High School Musical star rebuffed reports he would be setting sail with Johnny Depp in the series’ fourth instalment.
“Honestly, at this time it’s just a rumour,” Efron told American Idol host Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. “I wish I was going to be in Pirates Of The Caribbean, so hopefully that will happen for me.”
Disney confirmed a fourth movie in the franchise earlier this year, with Johnny Depp signing a record £32 million to reprise his role of Captain Jack Sparrow.
