Dwayne Johnson (‘Hercules,’ ‘Furious 7’) and Kevin Hart (‘Ride Along,’ ”Think Like A Man) are set to co-star in the buddy action-comedy ‘Central Intelligence,’ reports Variety.
With ‘We’re the Millers’ helmer Rawson Marshall Thurber attached to direct, the comedy sees Hart playing a former high school sports star turned accountant who is contacted by a former classmate whom he bullied and humiliated back in the day. Johnson is playing that “loser,” now a CIA contract killer who ropes Hart’s character into helping foil a plot to sell classified military secrets.
Ike Barinholtz and Dave Stassen penned the script, with rewrites coming from Sean Anders, John Morris and Thurber.
