Drew Barrymore Reuniting with Adam Sandler for Untitled Rom-Com

Rom-com will mark third outing for the duo.

Variety is reporting that Adam Sandler has signed on to take the male lead in an untitled romantic comedy over at Warner Bros., with his ‘50 First Dates’ and ‘The Wedding Singer’ co-star Drew Barrymore set to join him.

Penned by Ivan Menchell and Claire Sera, the rom-com explores the growing phenomenon of “blended families” and centres on “a couple who, after a disastrous blind date, find themselves stuck together with their kids from a previous marriage.”

Frank Coraci, who previously worked with Sandler on ‘Click ’ and ‘The Wedding Singer,’ will direct.

Sandler will produce the untitled film via his Happy Madison banner with Mike Karz, along with Josie Rosen of Karz’s Gulfstream Pictures.
