Dreamworks to adapt Halo for big screen…
DreamWorks Pictures is said to be looking to adapt Halo into a feature movie.
Both Universal and 20th Century Fox have previously tried to get a film based on the game franchise off the ground with little success.
Universal spent $12m in production fees, but the project was halted when the studio threatened to sue Fox after it refused to share the costs.
Now however, the New York Daily News reports that DreamWorks is citing different source material for the venture and therefore hopes to sideline any demands by Universal for it to reimburse development costs.
No writer or director have been hired for the movie.
