Tropic Thunder star for Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes…
Robert Downey Jr. wants to play Sherlock Holmes in Guy Ritchie’s next film.
The 43-year-old is also in demand for several other projects following his recent success with Paramount’s ‘Iron Man’.
Along with the Holmes remake, Downey Jr. has registered an interest in Travis McGee film ‘The Deep Blue Good-by’, comedy pic ‘Dog Years’ and Brett Ratner’s biopic of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.
Downey Jr. will next be seen in Ben Stiller war comedy ‘Tropic Thunder’.
‘Tropic Thunder’ is in Irish cinemas September 19th.
