Five new additions for the videogame adaptation.

British actor Dominic Cooper (‘Captain America: The First Avenger,’ ‘The Devil’s Double’), music producer-turned actor Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi, Ramon Rodriguez (‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’), Rami Malek (‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2’) and Harrison Gilbertson (‘Beneath Hill 60’) have all joined the cast of Scott Waugh’s ‘Need for Speed.’

An adaptation of EA’s popular video game franchise, the film will star Aaron Paul (‘Breaking Bad’) as Tobey Marshall, an underground race car driver who owns a garage that modifies expensive cars to make them faster for racing. Framed and sent to prison when his best friend is murdered during a race, he seeks revenge upon his release. Imogen Poots (‘Fright Night’) is attached to play the female lead, an exotic car dealer who does business with Marshall.

Patrick O’Brien of Electronic Arts will produce with Mark Sourian (‘The Delivery Man’) and John Gatins (‘Summer Catch’).
