Will the Time Lord go celluloid?
It’s the Doctor Who rumour that just won’t go away but as rumours go, we’re quite pleased by this one.
Word has come down from the BBC that a Doctor Who movie script is in fact in the works.
In a recent press release, the BBC confirmed that David Tennant will appear in three specials, starting with The Waters of Mars in November. The spokeswoman for BBC Films went on to confirm that “a script is in development”.
But BBC entertainment correspondent Lizo Mzimba did note that there were no guarantees a film would be made and that, if the project went into full production, a release would be a long time away.
