Disney/Marvel’s BIG HERO 6 Reveals Voice Cast

CG-animated comic adaptation reveals first cast members and a new piece of concept art…

T.J. Miller (‘Silicon Valley,’ ‘Cloverfield’), Jamie Chung (‘Sucker Punch,’ ‘ Believe’), and Maya Rudolph (‘Bridesmaids,’ The Way Way Back’) are set to lend their voices to Marvel and Disney’s CG-animated feature ‘Big Hero 6.’

Inspired by the Marvel comic series of the same name, ‘Big Hero 6’ is an action comedy adventure about brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city.

Miller will voice Fred, aka Fredzilla, whose powers include turning himself into a Godzilla-like monster. Chung will lend her voice to the tough-talking and mean-spirited Go Go Tomago (real name Leiko Tanaka), who transforms her body into an explosive ball of energy which is able to be projected at vast speeds.

Don Hall (‘Winnie the Pooh’) and Chris Williams (‘Bolt’) are co-directing the animated Marvel adaptation.
