THR is reporting that ‘Great Gatsby’ star Leonardo DiCaprio is attached to produce and star in a biopic of America’s 28th president Woodrow Wilson.
Based on ‘Wilson,’ the recently published biography by Pulitzer Prize-winning author A. Scott Berg, the film will take an intimate look at Wilson, who was elected president in 1912 and guided the United States through the first World War.
The project is set up over at Warner Bros. with Berg producing with DiCaprio and his Appian Way partner Jennifer Davisson Killoran. No director is attached yet. Lynn Harris will oversee development for Warner.
