Cameron Diaz in Talks to join Michel Gondry’s Green Hornet
Cameron Diaz is in early talks to join the cast of the superhero film The Green Hornet with Seth Rogen and Stephen Chow.
The film is a big-screen update of the 1960s TV series that starred Van Williams as a masked crimefighter and Bruce Lee as his sidekick/chauffeur Kato.
Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) will direct, from a script by Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
Diaz’s participation is still tentative for now as no deal has been sealed. She is soon to appear in The Box directed by Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko), based on Richard Matheson’s story Button, Button.
