The adorable Minions to get their own film.
‘Despicable Me’ creators Illumination Entertainment are in the process of developing an untitled feature spinoff based on everybody’s favourite, the cute and loveable Minions.
According to Deadline, the spinoff will feature “an original story that will introduce new characters and reprise others that originated in ‘Despicable Me,’ while focusing on the antics of the yellow fellows as they interact with human characters.”
Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda are co-directing with a script by Brian Lynch. Coffin co-directed ‘Despicable Me’ and is currently working away on ‘Despicable Me 2’ with Chris Renaud. Balda co-directed ‘Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax’ with Renaud.
