Demi Moore, Adam Brody & Eric Roberts Join LOVELACE

Three more for biopic.

Variety reports that Adam Brody, Eric Roberts, and Demi Moore have all joined the cast of the Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman-directed ‘Lovelace.’

Currently in production, the indie drama stars Amanda Seyfried as Linda Boreman aka Linda Lovelace, the world’s first erotic superstar due to the success of ‘Deep Throat.’

Moore will be playing feminist activist Gloria Steinem, who founded Ms. Magazine, which published the infamous article ‘The Real Linda Lovelace.’ In the article, Steinem discussed Linda’s relationship with her abusive pornographer husband Chuck Traynor, who she blamed for creating the myth that Linda “loved to be sexually used and humiliated.”

Brody will play Lovelace’s ‘Deep Throat’ co-star Harry Reems, while Roberts will play Nat Laurendi, the lie detector expert who administered a polygraph test to Linda at the request of her publisher.

The supporting cast for ‘Lovelace’ includes Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth and Robert Patrick. James Franco is being lined up for a cameo as Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.
