Deborah Ann Woll Joins Marvel’s DAREDEVIL

‘True Blood’ star boards superhero series…

Redhead bombshell Deborah Ann Woll has landed the female lead opposite Charlie Cox in Marvel and Netflix’s ‘Daredevil,’ according to multiple outlets.

Woll, who best known for playing Jessica Hamby on ‘True Blood,’ will take the role of Karen Page, the love interest of Daredevil’s alter ego Matt Murdock. The character was previously played by ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Ellen Pompeo in the 2003 film adaptation.

Vincent D’Onofrio (‘Pawn Shop Chronicles’), Rosario Dawson (‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’), and Peter Shinkoda (‘Godzilla,’ ‘Falling Skies’) are also series regulars.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that Elden Henson (‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay’) has come on board the superhero series and will play Murdock’s bet friend Foggy Nelson.

‘Daredevil’ follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.

The 13-episode series premieres on Netflix next year.
