Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese attached to new mob film.

Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese are to reunite for mobster film ‘I Heard You Paint Houses’.

Scorsese is to direct De Niro in an adaptation of Charles Brandt’s book ‘I Heard You Paint Houses’, which tells the story of mobster Frank ‘the Irishman’ Sheeran, who many believe murdered American union boss Jimmy Hoffa.

The film marks the first time the two have worked together as actor and director since 1995’s ‘Casino’. Both Scorsese and De Niro will also produce the film.

De Niro can currently be seen on Irish cinema screens in the thriller ‘Righteous Kill’.
