30 Days of Night helmer to tackle Wolverine
David Slade is in line to take over chief duties on X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2.
Slade is up against Robert Schwentke to direct the movie, which is a sequel to 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Slade has previously tackled bloodthirsty vampires in 30 Days of Night and teen werewolves in Eclipse.
Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine, with the movie set to start shooting in January, 2011.
