David Cronenberg’s MAP TO THE STARS Finds Julianne Moore and John Cusack

Production kicks off this July.

It has been announced that Julianne Moore (‘The Seventh Son,’ ‘Carrie’), John Cusack (‘Cell,’ ‘Grand Piano’), Robert Pattinson (‘Queen of the Desert,’ ‘The Rover,’ ‘Cosmopolis’) and Sarah Gadon (‘An Enemy,’ ‘Belle,’ ‘Cosmopolis’) are all set to star ‘Maps to the Stars,’ the upcoming thriller from award-winning director David Cronenberg.

From a provocative original screenplay by noted Los Angeles author and screenwriter Bruce Wagner (‘Wild Palms,’ ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors’), the film is both a haunting ghost story and a scathing attack on the celebrity-obsessed society of LA.

‘Maps to the Stars’ will be produced by Cronenberg’s long-time collaborator Martin Katz of Prospero Pictures and Entertainment One with SBS Productions’ Saïd Ben Saïd. Cronenberg’s manager Renee Tab of Sentient Entertainment is on board to serve as executive producer. Integral Films’ Alfred Hurmer will co-produce. Filming on the project is scheduled to begin this July in Toronto and Los Angeles.
