DAREDEVIL follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
The 13-episode series, premiering on Netflix in 2015, co-stars Scott Glenn (Murdock’s mentor Stick), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Vondie Curtis Hall (Ben Urich), Peter Shinkoda (Hachiro), Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa Marianna), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk/Kingpin).
DAREDEVIL is Marvel’s first original series planned for Netflix, with further series focusing on ‘Jessica Jones’ (played by Krysten Ritter), ‘Iron Fist’ and ‘Luke Cage’ (played by Mike Colter), culminating with ‘The Defenders,’ a mini-series event that re-imagines a dream team of self-sacrificing, heroic characters.
