Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen Are VERY GOOD GIRLS

Actresses will join Peter Sarsgaard, Dustin Hoffman and Sissy Spacek for coming-of-age drama.

Dakota Fanning (‘The Twilight Saga’) and Elizabeth Olsen (‘Martha Marcy May Marlene’) are to lead the coming-of-age drama ‘Very Good Girls,’ with Peter Sarsgaard, Dustin Hoffman and Sissy Spacek co-starring.

The film follows two teenage girls through a summer spent in New York City. After they graduate high school, each becomes determined to lose her virginity, and things get complicated when they fall for the same charismatic street artist.

Naomi Foner (mother of Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal) penned the screenplay and will make her directorial debut with the movie. Foner’s screenwriting credits include ‘Running on Empty,’ ‘Losing Isaiah,’ and ‘Bee Season.’

‘Very Good Girls’ will begin shooting in September with Gale Anne Hurd (‘The Walking Dead’) and Hawk Koch (‘Source Code’) producing.
