ONCE delighted audiences upon its cinema release, the surprise Irish hit was nominated for an Oscar and went on to become an award winning musical, playing to thousands of fans around the world. Based on the movie sensation of the same name, filmed and set in Dublin, the show tells the life-changing love story of ‘Guy’ and ‘Girl’, two musicians – he’s Irish, she’s Czech – who meet by chance on a Dublin street and create something wonderful together. Once features music and lyrics by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová and a Tony award-winning book by Enda Walsh.
