ABOUT THE MOVIE
Set in 1790s, Love & Friendship follows the machinations of the beautiful widow Lady Susan Vernon (Kate Beckinsale), who seeks refuge from rumour and gossip about her dalliances. She takes up temporary residence at her in-laws’ estate and, while there, is determined to be a matchmaker for her daughter Frederica — and herself too, naturally. Based on the Jane Austen Novella ‘Lady Susan’.
