Potter helmer plans trio of horror pics…
Harry Potter helmer Chris Columbus is teaming with Korean producers CJ Entertainment to make three horror pics.
Variety reports that the slate will include an adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book — about an orphan raised by ghosts — with Neil Jordan (The Crying Game) writing and directing. Columbus himself is penning Carpe Demon, based on Julie Kenner’s Carpe Demon: Adventures of a Demon-Hunting Soccer Mom and Adam Green will write Killer Pizza, an action-comedy about a teen who works at the titular pizza joint, which is actually a front for a monster-hunting gang.
“We see this as just the beginning of many terrific movies together,” Columbus said of the films.
