Wright will direct with Abrams producing.
Deadline is reporting that Edgar Wright is set to team with scribe Mark Protosevich (‘Mass Effect,’ ‘Oldboy,’ ‘I Am Legend’) to develop a mystery sci-fi film titled ‘Collider.’
As expected there is nothing to go on in regards to plot but it is believed that Wright will take the director’s chair for the project. The ‘Shaun of the Dead’ helmer will also produce with his longtime Big Talk Productions partner Nira Park and JJ Abrams via Bad Robot Productions.
Wright’s upcoming slate includes the final installment of his Cornetto Trilogy, ‘The World’s End,’ and Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man,’ so where that leaves ‘Collider’ is anybody’s guess.
