Clay Tarver Penning DODGEBALL Sequel

Get ready to grab life by the balls again…

It has long been talked about, but now confirmation has arrived, via THR, that Ben Stiller is planning a sequel to the hit comedy ‘Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.’

Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, the 2004 film revolves Peter LaFleur, the slacker owner of Average Joe’s, a small and financially unsuccessful gym rundown gym who gathers a group of misfits into a dodgeball tournament in order to defeat Globo-Gym, an encroaching corporate gym run by fitness guru White Goodman (Ben Stiller).

According to the trade, screenwriter Clay Tarver has been tapped by Stiller and his Red Hour Productions partner Stuart Cornfeld to pen a script for the potential sequel that would see Vaughn’s LaFleur and Stiller’s Goodman teaming up to fight an even bigger threat.
