‘A Knight’s Tale’ actress leading horror sequel…
‘Wayward Pines’ and ‘A Knight’s Tale’ star Shannyn Sossamon has been cast as the lead in ‘Sinister 2,’ the sequel to the 2012 horror from director Scott Derrickson.
Sossamon takes the role of “a protective mother who moves with her 9-year-old twin sons (played by real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) into a rural house that’s marked for death.”
James Ransone (‘Treme,’ ‘Oldboy’) returns, reprising his role as a concerned sheriff’s deputy.
Principal photography is set to kick off next week in Chicago with Irish filmmaker Ciaran Foy (‘Citadel’) directing from a script by Derrickson and his ‘Sinister’ co-scribe C. Robert Cargill.
