Christian Bale, who will next be seen in the Ridley Scott-directed ‘Exodus: Gods and Kings,’ is in talks to star in Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs biopic, says Variety.
Penned by Aaron Sorkin, the script is adapted from Walter Isaacson’s biography of the late Apple co-founder and Pixar CEO. Sorkin’s script is thought to unfold in ‘real time’ with three long scenes – each taking place backstage before one of Apple’s famous product launches.
‘Wolf of Wall Street’ star Leonardo DiCaprio had been circling the role but passed. Scott Rudin, Mark Gordon and Guymon Casady will produce.
